We recommend that you use our team-based approach, and start using Beamible filters within individual teams.
You have two options:
filtering for tags that people have assigned to teams, roles or activities, OR
filtering for text within teams, roles, activities or people
FILTERING FOR TAGS
Step 1: Navigate to your Team dashboard and click on the square ‘Filter Menu’ button (ie. grey funnel) found underneath the Team Headline stats.
Step 2: On the right-hand Filter Panel click inside the ‘Filter types’ box to select where you want to filter for tags - at the team, role or activity level. You can select just one, or up to all three.
NOTE: You cannot filter for tags at the People level at the moment. Right now, you cannot assign tags to people. This is coming soon!
However, you can search for people using the text filter.
Step 3: Click inside the ‘Filter by tags’ box to select the Tags you want to locate.
For example, selecting ‘Energising’ will filter for all those teams, roles and/or activities that have been classified as energising using the tagging system.
The Team Headline stats will update to reflect the percentage of time spent on ‘energising’ work.
You can then compare between individuals within the team - any outliers? Or are there any stats that are red flags?
FILTERING FOR TEXT
Step 1: Navigate to your Team dashboard and click on the square ‘Filter Menu’ button (ie. grey funnel) found underneath the Team Headline stats.
Step 2: On the right-hand Filter Panel click inside the ‘Filter types’ box to select where you want to search for text - at the team, role, activity or people level. You can select just one, or up to all four.
Step 3: Click inside the ‘Filter by text’ box and type in the word(s) you want to locate.
For example, selecting ‘Marketing’ will filter for all those teams, roles and/or activities (depending on the filter type you’ve selected) with the word ‘Marketing’ in them.
The Team Headline stats will update to reflect the percentage of time spent on ‘marketing’ work.
You can also search for individuals who are assigned to certain roles, or roles themselves.
